Garden Lighting
Different lighting effects
Lights placed within planted beds look amazing and will be absorbed by the foliage for a magical night time effect. Lighting can be used to highlight specific features or to detail outlines.
Recessed lights can be set into walls, steps, paving and decking. Bollard style lights can mark pathways or terrace edges. Stylish light fitting sand strings of festoon bulbs can illuminate pergolas or seating areas.
Not sure if you want lighting in your garden?
If you decide that you don’t want to include lighting now but may want to in the future, we can install appropriate cabling and conduit to allow installation after construction of your new garden.

The sound and sight of running water adds an extra element to any garden, enhancing the overall effect and giving greater opportunities with planting schemes, utilising natural differences in existing levels and encouraging a more diverse wildlife.

Irrigation
We would always recommend the installation of a simple automatic irrigation system where possible. Seep hose or drip systems are exempt from current hosepipe ban legislation in most areas. But even if there is no ban in place, having the garden watered automatically is hugely labour saving, uses less water and is much better for the plants.
So if you want your plants to thrive, but would rather spend your time enjoying the garden and using less water, an automatic irrigation system is the perfect solution to protect the investment in your plants.
A simple automatic irrigation computer can be fitted to a garden tap and hose pipe would link various lengths of seep hose or dripper nozzles situated within the beds.
There are other irrigation solutions for planted beds, lawns, vegetable areas, pots and hanging baskets which we will be happy to discuss with you.
